Version 5 of the Text Editor allows you to export a Microsoft Word document and has an enhanced user interface and experience when compared with Version 4 of the Text Editor.
Version 5 of the Text Editor also allows you to create and edit letters, accounts, statements of adjustments, transfers, directions and many other templated documents as editable PDFs with access to email and fax capability right from Prolegis.
Firm Default
To set the default Text Editor Version for the firm, go to Firm > Settings > General.
User Session Default
Each of the firm users can override the firm's default Text Editor.
The Text Editor Version can also be changed within the Text Editor by clicking “Switch to Editor Version 4 (Classic)” or “Switch Editor to Version 5 (Latest)”.
When clicked, the following warning will appear “This will change the editor version for the remainder of your login session and reload this page losing any changes you've made so far. Are you sure you'd like to continue?”
When OK is clicked, the Text Editor will switch and the document will be reset. The selected Text Editor will be set as the user's default for the balance of that user's session in Prolegis.
