Block is a subsection of a template that auto-populates with information from a Prolegis matter.


Document Management Toolkit means the tools that allow for document creation, smart editing and management in Prolegis, which include the Text Editor, the PDF Editor and the Document Manager.


Document Manager (Actions > Documents):

1. opens, renames, copies and deletes documents stored in the Prolegis cloud

2. shows or hides documents from the client, realtor, lawyer, and mortgage broker portals

3. sends a document for review to another member of your firm

4. downloads some or all documents from the Prolegis cloud to your computer

5. uploads documents to the Prolegis cloud

6. accesses a searchable database of Text Editor templates

7. accesses the PDF Editor real estate forms

8. accesses the PDF Editor mortgage forms

9. accesses the PDF Editor to enhance externally created or sourced PDFs uploaded into Document Manager


Document Style (https://simplicity.prolegis.ca/practice/settings/precedent-style/) is a template that applies font size, margin width, header and footer types, page size and other formatting options to the document. A firm has the ability to create multiple Document Styles to allow for quick and easy document creation.


Firm Precedent is an enhanced template that is specific to the firm auto-populates with information from a Prolegis matter.


PDF Editor:

1. automatically populates required information on an externally created or sourced PDF with information directly from the Prolegis real estate matter

2. updates that information with updated information on the Prolegis real estate matter

3. creates templates out of an externally created or sourced PDF where required information from the Prolegis real estate matter is populated on that PDF 


Prolegis Standard Precedent is an enhanced Prolegis template made available for free that auto-populates with information from a Prolegis matter.


 Text Editor Version 4 (Classic)

  1. creates and edit letters, accounts, statements of adjustments, transfers, directions and many other templated documents using an advanced online document editor
  2. creates an editable PDF document
  3. accesses to email and fax capability


Text Editor Version 5 (Latest):

1. creates and edit letters, accounts, statements of adjustments, transfers, directions and many other templated documents using an advanced online document editor

2. creates an editable PDF or Microsoft Word document

3. accesses email and fax capability

4. provides an enhanced powerful user interface and experience
