1. Is the view I see in Version 5 of the Text Editor what my document will look like?

The Text Editor is intended to provide the ability to edit the content and some of the formatting of the document. It provides a general idea of what the document will look like, however, additional padding is included in the tables to enhance readability and editability when working in the editor which will not be there when the document is produced.

In order to see what the document will look like when produced, the user will need to click the “Preview” button.

2. Can I just keep using the Classic editor (version 4)?

A firm and a user can continue to use the existing Version 4. However, the ability to export to Word is only available in Version 5.

3. If I create a document using the Classic Text Editor (version 4) can I edit that document in Version 5 of the Text Editor?

Once a PDF has been produced in Prolegis, it can only be edited using the version of the Text Editor that was used to create that PDF.  Therefore, a PDF created using the Classic Text Editor, must be edited using the Classic Text Editor and a PDF created using Version 5 of the Text Editor must be edited using Version 5 of the Text Editor.

However, you can use either Text Editor for any new document being created.
