1. Closing Calendar

2. Daily Closing

3. Workstep Overview

Access the Dashboard at Real Estate > Dashboard

Closing Calendar

The Closing Calendar displays all closings for the month, along with the matter type, the name of the client, the assigned clerk or conveyancer, daily, weekly and monthly number of total and per clerk or conveyancer closings.

Each entry is organized as follows: Matter Type, Client Name, Clerk/Conveyancer Initials

Reports per week

And per month are included in the calendar

Click on the Print button in the top right hand corner to get a printable version of the calendar.

Daily Closing

This view focuses on the closing for the particular day and provides a listing of the worksteps included on the Progress Dashboard for Closings.

The clerk / conveyancer can manage their closings from this dashboard, including 1. marking steps complete, 2. navigating to search screens and 3. creating documents.

The daily matter closings are organized so that the worksteps are displayed horizontally.

Workstep Overview

The workstep overview shows the progress of the worksteps required to complete real estate matters. Within the workstep overview, a user can quickly identify outstanding items for completion on real estate matters. The overview is fully configurable to the preferences and processes of the practice.

To access the workstep overview go to the Real Estate menu on the left side of the screen, click Dashboard, then click workstep overview.

The dashboard shows a breakdown of deals and of dashboard checklist steps. To access a particular matter, click on the name of the step and you will be taken to a list of the matters for which that step is outstanding.

The calendar icon with an x shows that there is a matter within the group for which the step is late.

To configure the real estate dashboard, navigate to the bottom of the screen.

1. Click the down arrow on the right side of the type of transaction that you would like to configure (Sale, Purchase, Mortgage).

2. Each dashboard step card includes a label, an ability to attach a dashboard step from the system, the type of file (open or closed) and the time limits for the card.

For an open file, use the “Within X Days before Closing” to indicate when an incomplete step will appear in the Dasboard. Use the “Late X Days Before Closing” to indicate when an incomplete step will appear as late in the Dashboard.

For a closed file, use “Days after closing” to indicate how many days must pass after the closing day for the incomplete step to show up on the Dashboard. Use the “Days late after closing” to indicate when an incomplete step will appear as late in the Dashboard.

3. The Code field allows you to attach a checklist step to the dashboard step card. Click the Code button and select the applicable step.  These worksteps include those custom worksteps created by the firm.

4. To re-order the dashboard steps, click the up and down arrow on the top left hand corner of the card and drag and drop it where you would like it to be.

5. When complete, click save and the Dashboard will be updated.
