How do I send a fax

Faxes can be sent in Prolegis as soon as you have completed the draft document (before saving it as a PDF) and with documents that have already been produced. Once sent, Prolegis tracks when the fax was sent and when it was received in the Communication Action. If a fax is not successfully delivered, an email will be sent alerting the user to the fact that the fax was unsuccessful.

Faxes will be sent from the fax number assigned to you by Prolegis.  You can continue to receive faxes at your normal fax number.

To send a fax after completing a document (but before creating it as a pdf)

After you have chosen the precedent document and have completed your revisions in the html document editor, click the Fax menu at the bottom of the screen.

Choose the recipient(s) for the fax. If the recipient is not already listed, you can add an additional recipient using the +Recipient button.

You can add any document that is in the Prolegis online file to your fax and drag and drop the document to select the order of those documents in your fax.

Print options allows you to decide whether your header, footer and page numbers will appear on the document you’ve created.

To send the fax, click “Fax”.

To send a fax with existing documents from the Prolegis online file

Go to the Communications Action. Click the + on the right side of the Fax bar.
